What is baler machine?
Baler machines are primarily used to deal with hay on the field. A Baler machine press presses together hays which can then be collected together to create a bale. This is an environmentally friendly machine that stops farmers burn the crop residue that helps in lower the air pollution.
When were balers invented?
In the 1960s, Iowa State agricultural engineering professor Wesley Buchele with researchers contracted a baler machine that assembled big, round and square bales. This help farmers save time and money. The best part of these bales that it can be shifted with the help of farm tractors.
Who invented balers?
Originally considered by Ummo Luebben circa 1910, the first round baler did not see production until 1947 when Allis-Chalmers began the Roto-Baler. Marketed for the water-shedding and lightweight sections of its hay bales, Allis-Chalmers had sold nearly 70,000 pieces of round baler by the end of production in 1960.
Types of balers
Talking about the types of balers, here are some main types of baler machine used right now.
- Round Baler
- Rectangular Baler
- Square baler
- Industrial baler
How balers work?
The baler machine picks the hay from the ground and feeds it into the bale chamber. As extra hay is picked up and drawn into the baling system, the bale converts spherical and fills the bale chamber. The hay exerts a force upon the belts, that is in turn monitored by way of the hydraulic system.
